Intensive English 2019

Every year we hold a 2-week intensive English course called Intensive English. The 1st week is on campus and the 2nd week is in Aso. It is a course for any student at PUK, but most of the participants are from our department. The students spend time with international students from Beppu.

This year, it was held from August 16th to August 30th. In addition to the students from Beppu, we also had international students from Tokyo, for a total of 16 international students with 29 PUK students. It was very successful, and most PUK students made the effort to speak English, even to each other outside of classes.
